Hi! My name is Marco Aguilar and I'm a software developer from Los Angeles, California. I'm a software developer who is passionate about making the lives of others easier through the applications of software. I love tinkering with new technologies during my free time and collaborating with others whenever I can. My current passion is developing web and Android applications, but I'm always happy to create and build anything that encompasses the world of software.
Muse
Muse is a project I made with my team members for my Android class. It's an app where users can share and discover new music. This was one of the first Android apps that I worked on so it was pretty challenging in the beginning. In the end, I learned a lot about using Activities, Fragments, and changing the user interface of the application by modifying XML files. This is also where I learned about Google's Firebase and how to use their real-time database. My contributions to this app were designing the layout, working on the user's profile, and helping create the post functionality.

ACM App
I built this app while attending an Android Development workshop for an entire semester of school. I used the workshop as an opportunity to solidify my Android development skills and to try to get more involved in extra curricular activities. Near the end of the workshop there was a competition to see who had the best app and ended up taking 3rd place. I had a lot of fun attending this workshop because I got the chance to create an app around other software developers who are also passionate about what they do.
